The Assad forces’ 5th Corps prolonged the deadline of recruiting fighters to go fight in Libya until the end of April 2021.

Earlier, the corpse commandership set mid-April as the deadline of registering recruits to fight in Libya; however, the commandership prolonged the deadline due to recruits’ poor turnout and shortage.

The 5th Corps has been attracting young men from Deir Ezzor since 2020 in favor of the Russian forces to fight in Libya.
