Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that 12 Shiite militiamen were killed and one captured this morning by “Maghawir Al-Thowra” forces in al-Tanaf area on the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border, and one element of Maghawir Al-Thowra was killed.
The sources noted that this morning, a military force of Maghawir Al-Thowra Army stormed a position of the Iranian militias near Al-Tanaf, which forced the militia to respond by targeting the positions of al-Maghawir with mortar shells, which in turn pushed the international coalition warplanes to intervene and bomb the militia position.
It is worth mentioning that Maghawir Al-Thowra is one of the Free Syrian Army’s factions, and is stationed at al-Tanaf base in the Syrian badiyah, close to the Syrian-Jordanian-Iraqi border.
