Today, the international coalition began transporting hundreds of fighters from the SDF militia trapped in Al-Aktan prison in the city of Raqqa, towards the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) in the Aleppo countryside, amid strict security measures and intense air fighters movement.
The Syrian government’s operations corporation said that this step is the first within the framework of implementing the agreement concluded on January 18, which stipulates that the Ministry of Interior will take full management of the prison.

According to estimates, the number of fighters transferred ranges between 800 and 1,000, as they were deported to the city of Ayn al-Arab under direct protection from international coalition forces.
