Today, Tuesday, the water control at the General Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater carried out an inspection tour in the city of Deir Ezzor, with the participation of the Director General, the Head of Workshops, and the Legal Affairs Office, in response to reports of violations of drinking water networks.
The tour included inspecting industrial facilities operating in cement production in the Al-Beghiliyah area, in addition to monitoring other violations in its vicinity, where arrests were organized against violators and the necessary legal measures were taken to address violations and protect the water network.
The General Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater confirmed that these tours come within the framework of maintaining the sustainability of water services and preventing encroachments that affect the efficiency of the network, stressing the importance of adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
The company called on citizens to report any violations of drinking water networks, as they cause a decrease in water pressure and difficulty in reaching remote areas and upper floors, which contributes to protecting the public facility and ensuring fair water distribution.
