The Directorate of Internal Trade in Raqqa Governorate activated the Quick Response Codes (QR) system for more than a thousand commercial events during the first week of the facility coding campaign, as part of a plan aimed at developing control mechanisms and enhancing digital transformation in the trade sector.
The Directorate explained that the campaign seeks to raise the efficiency of regulatory work by linking commercial establishments’ data electronically, which facilitates access to and rapid verification of information, and enhances compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The system allows citizens to view commercial establishment data by scanning the Quick Response Code (QR), in addition to submitting complaints and comments electronically, which contributes to enhancing transparency, developing the quality of regulatory services, and improving market monitoring.
The Directorate confirmed the continuation of the campaign to include all commercial activities in the city of Raqqa, as part of a plan aimed at expanding the scope of use of digital solutions and updating market control tools.
