Most schools in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor province were without books for all educational levels, with the start of the school year, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the school book department does not meet a quarter of the needs of the province’s students, due to the lack of supplies from the Ministry of Education.
The student’s parents resorted to buying books from Damascus or other Syrian provinces, while others resorted to buying used books.
