This afternoon, Sunday, the fires consumed the agricultural areas on the outskirts of Al-Suwar town in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to videos posted on social media, the fires burned some of the farmers’ crops.
The videos show the people while trying to put out the fires, and prevent it from spreading to the neighboring farmlands.
A few days ago, the fires devoured agricultural crops in the vicinity of Abu al-Naytal village in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside, and other fires were also set in different agricultural areas in Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is indicated that Daesh had previously claimed responsibility of burning the agricultural crops in all over Deir Ezzor countryside through its cells.
