On Friday, December 11, 2020, the International Coalition and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conducted military maneuvers using live fire, northern Deir Ezzor.
Before the maneuvers, both sides combed the Julayib al-Hukumah area in the Deir Ezzor badiya, northern the al-Azbah area and southern the al-Suwar Nahiyat. After combing the areas, both sides conducted military training using shoulder-fired missiles , and medium and heavy weapons.
The maneuvers are the second that both sides conduct in less than three months in Deir Ezzor. Two months ago, both sides conducted military maneuvers on the perimeter of al-Suwar nahiyat, northern Deir Ezzor.
