D24 exclusive:
Local sources told D24 network that this morning, Sunday, unidentified aircrafts flew over Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources confirmed that the aircrafts were not those of the Assad regime or the Russian forces, as the National defense militia and the Iranian militias immediately vacated their headquarters.
The sources noted that the elements of the Iranian militias vacated their headquarters, and military vehicles spilled in the city.
According to the sources, the aircrafts did not carry out any airstrikes on the city, but flew for almost 30 minutes and left the airspace.
During the overflights, the Iranian militias and the Assad’s forces in Al-Mayadeen city were at high alert but didn’t fire at the aircrafts.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian militias control Al-Mayadeen city and are considered the real ruler in the city.
