Ammar al Kalot, member of the Syrian Coalition for Revolutionary and Oppositions Forces and reprenstative of Deir Ezzor in the General staff command before (Haya’at al Arkan), died in a hospital in the city of Mersin, Turkey today. The reason of his death was after he had been severely injured by a Turkish border guard while crossing from the town of Tel-Abyad to Turkey.
Al-Kalot was born on May 28, 1976 in the town of Albu Layl in eastern rural Deir Ezzor, where he was elected as mayor. During the last period, he worked as a coordinator of Bayariq al Furat brigade, which was preparing in an area near the Turkish city of Tel-Abyad to launch military operations against ISIS in a move to liberate Deir Ezzor province from the group. He successfully recruited hundreds of fighters from Deir Ezzor and after a long battle with his injury, Amar al Kalot passed away in a Turkish hospital today.
