Today, a military patrol of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested a leader of Daesh in Al-Hawayej town east of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
In the details, our correspondent said that a military patrol of the SDF set up an ambush this afternoon in Al-Hawayej town, with the aim of catching a person suspected of being Daesh element. Several hours after setting up the ambush, the patrol managed to arrest the wanted person, who was hiding in a car selling foodstuffs.
The correspondent said that the arrested person is a leader of Daesh named “Abu Al-Ainaa”, who served as a leader in the public relations office of Daesh.
It is worth mentioning that “Abu Al-Ainaa” is from Al-Mayadeen city and has been living in Al-Hawayej town for about four years. He has been on the run and hiding since the organization left Deir Ezzor.
