DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia transferred several detainees from its prison in Al-Maarri security square in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, to the Al-Hari area on the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to our reporter, several militia commanders supervised the transfer of these detainees, and they were transferred under tight security guard, without knowing the identity of the people who were transferred.
He added that the majority of the detainees who were transferred were of Syrian nationality and were arrested on charges of spying for foreign parties, or photographing headquarters of Iranian militias.
The reason that prompted the Iranian militias to transfer the detainees was the fear that the city’s prisons would be targeted by international coalition aircraft and the detainees would escape from them.
It should be noted that these prisons in the city of Al-Bukamal are supervised by the Iranian Security Bureau, which is led by the so-called “Hajj Abbas” of Iranian nationality.
