The Revolutionary Guard militia opened a new headquarters in the town of Al-Qasabi, west of Deir Ezzor Governorate (towards Raqqa), according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said that the headquarters includes local members from the region and is under the direct supervision of the commander of the Hussein Brigades stationed in the town of Ayyash, west of Deir Ezzor Governorate.
The IRGC militia, in addition to the geographical competition with the Russian presence, has deployed points throughout the governorate to facilitate smuggling operations and find new markets for drug trade in the area adjacent to Raqqa governorate, most of which is under the control of the SDF.
