DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The leader of the Iraqi Hezbollah militia, Hajj Ahmed, issued a decision to evacuate Al-Sakak crossing (the Iranian-backed militia crossing) in Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
Our reporter said that all entry and exit operations of smuggling trucks through the crossing were halted following the decision.
He added that Haj Ahmed’s decision came due to the continuous intense flights of drones over the Syrian-Iraqi border.
Haj Ahmed is a leader in the Iraqi Hezbollah militia, an Iraqi national, and responsible for smuggling operations at the gate.
The Iranian-backed militias have recently intensified the entry of large quantities of weapons from Iraq into Syria using that crossing, in addition to other secret crossings on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
