Today, the western entrance to the city of Al-Bukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor witnessed a state of alert for the military police of the Assad regime, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that military police patrols closed the Sukkariyeh roundabout at the entrance to the city of Al-Bukamal, in conjunction with a tour by the head of the Military Police branch in Deir Ezzor to some points and facilities in the city and its surroundings.
Assad’s forces and security branches have recently increased their presence in Albukamal, after it was under the control of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.
