Assad’s forces withdrew from several points in “Jama’iyat Al-Rusafa” neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, under pressure from the Iraqi Hezbollah militia, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

Our correspondent added that Assad’s forces have closed their headquarters and withdrew their checkpoints from Jama’iyat al-Rusafa neighborhood, on order of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.

It is indicated that the differences between the Iranian militias on the one hand and Assad’s forces and the Russian forces on the other started to become clear in several areas of Deir Ezzor, as a result of the contest between the Russians and the Iranians over the expansion of influence in Deir Ezzor.
