DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Iranian Cultural Center in the city of Deir Ezzor announced an educational course to teach the fundamentals of the Shiite doctrine, especially for women of all ages, in the congregation hall of al-Malali (Abu Jaafar al-Sadiq) in the town of Hatla, northeast of Deir Ezzor, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said that the course will be held during the month of Ramadan in the morning time, and it began yesterday, the first day of the holy month, with a very weak turnout, limited to some women of the Shiite leaders and stakeholders in the town, despite the announcement of offering clothes and gifts.
It should be noted that the town of Hatla has a large Sunni majority and is not, as it is rumored, a town that embraces the Shiite sect. Shiism began there nearly four decades ago, with the Raja and Al-Mayouf families, and most of its residents were displaced in areas under SDF control (Muizila, Al-Sad camp, rural Al-Hasakah, and western Deir Ezzor).
