The Global Coalition announced, through a written statement, the capture of a Daesh commander, in a security operation with the Anti-Terrorism Service of the SDF (HAT).
According to the statement, the commander is in charge of assassinations in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and he was captured on the outskirts of the town of Jadeed Akidat, east of Deir Ezzor.
The Coalition affirmed, through its statement, that it is committed to achieving stability in the region and will continue to pursue Daesh members throughout northeastern Syria.
The area in which the international coalition carried out its operation is located on the line of contact with the area controlled by the Russian forces and Assad’s forces in the town of Tabiya Island, east of Deir Ezzor.
