DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Fourth Division checkpoint at the entrance to the Panorama, south of the city of Deir Ezzor, stopped two “locomotive” trucks loaded with sugar for the second day in a row, for unknown reasons, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 network.
He said that the confiscation of sugar shipments by the Fourth Division led to the continuation of the sugar shortage in Deir Ezzor and its monopoly in merchants’ warehouses.
He added that the price of one bag, if available in the city of Al-Mayadeen, reached 480,000 Syrian pounds.
Deir Ezzor has been suffering from a sugar crisis for more than 10 days, and the main reason for this is the Fourth Division.
