The 4th Division of Assad’s forces transferred two tanks and infantrymen from Al-Mayadeen to the city of Al-Ashara, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said that the division placed the two tanks and elements in a new headquarters that it will take near the Al-Ashara Bridge, in preparation for opening a new crossing for smuggling (fuel, smoke, and goods) away from the National Defense militia crossing, in cooperation with the Al-Qaterji militia in the city.
The Fourth Division in Deir Ezzor relies on smuggling crossings, and is working to expand its operations in the region at the expense of the rest of the militias.
