DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Fourth Division checkpoint in the Panorama area, south of the city of Deir Ezzor, confiscated more than 70 boxes of “smoking cigarettes” in addition to foreign clothes made in Turkey, according to the Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the checkpoint personnel detained the travelers and the bus, and imposed royalties on the passengers in exchange for their release, or keeping them in detention unless they paid, until the one who transported the smuggled goods was found.
The bus was heading towards Damascus, carrying more than 30 passengers, who were held for several hours until they paid huge sums of money to the Fourth Division checkpoint to be released.
