DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Ali Al-Duwaihi, brother of the commander of the Iranian militia, Moayed Al-Duwaihi, took over the process of importing goods and vegetables to the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
According to the reporter, it was observed that the Hal market in the city of Al-Mayadeen was largely empty of vegetables and commercial goods. He added that Al-Duwaihi brought commercial trucks loaded with vegetables or foodstuffs from the city of Deir Ezzor to Al-Mayadeen, without submitting to inspections at the checkpoints of the regime, Iranian militias, or the Fourth Division.
He pointed out that Al-Duwaihi imposes a royalty on each car passed according to the type of load and the size of the car, and it is not delivered to dealers until the required amount is paid.
Al-Duwaihi’s measures led to a significant increase in the prices of vegetables and fruits, including foodstuffs due to their scarcity in the markets.
