DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The role of the Assad regime’s police is no longer effective in resolving conflicts, especially armed ones, that take place in the city of Al-Bukamal and its countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to what DeirEzzor24 network correspondents monitored.
According to our correspondents, the role of the Assad regime’s police has greatly diminished in the city of Albukamal, in resolving civil disputes and problems, in return for the increased effectiveness of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in this role.
As several civil problems and armed conflicts occurred recently in Albukamal and its countryside, they were not resolved except with the intervention of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, which puts its weight to solve the problem or resolve the conflict with the aim of strengthening trust between it and the people.
The police in Al-Bukamal are now requesting the support of the security branches in the raids that they carry out against members of the Defense and National Militia and other militias, due to their inability and weak military and security structure.
