The Assad regime’s Endowments Directorate in Deir Ezzor requires security approvals for mosques

The Assad regime’s Endowments Directorate in Deir Ezzor stipulated that courses for teaching and memorizing the Qur’an be accepted in mosques during the month of Ramadan with the approval of the Political Security and State Security branches.

A DeirEzzor24 reporter said that imams of mosques that intend to hold Qur’an memorization courses must obtain security approval from the Political Security and State Security branches.

It should be noted that courses teaching Shiite doctrine in Husseiniyat and Iranian cultural centers in Deir Ezzor do not require any approval from any security authority, but rather receive full support.
