The Minister of Finance of the Assad regime issued a decision stipulating the precautionary seizure of movable and immovable funds for a number of personalities in Deir Ezzor.
The decision included the so-called “Jumaa Al-Mukhtar”, the commander of the Al-Mukhtar militia affiliated with the Russian forces, who received a large number of decorations from the leadership of the Russian forces, the so-called “Farhan Al-Marsoumi”, who cooperates with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, and “Madlul Al-Aziz”, a member of the People’s Assembly of the Assad regime and the president of the Bully Club. And “Firas Al-Iraqiya,” the commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, and “Hassan al-Ghadhban,” the former leader of the National Defense Militia and the current commander of the Fourth Division, along with more than 20 other people.
According to the decision, the seizure of the money of these personalities comes on charges related to smuggling.
