Great tension rose between the National Defense Militia (NDF) and Ausud al-Sharqiya militia in Deir Ezzor on Thursday, September 3, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
The dispute began when Ausud al-Sharqiya militia prevented a group of the NDF from passing through one of its checkpoints. Both sides raised weapons, fired in the air and took fighting stance against each other.
Many clashes broke out between the two militias in previous times in Deir Ezzor due to disputes over loot stolen from the homes of displaced people.
