According to DeirEzzor24 Network, Ramadan provided job opportunities and a source of income for dozens of families in Deir Ezzorr during this month, as a result of Ramadan activities and buying and selling.
Our reporter said that a group of young people have relied on selling Ramadan drinks and ma’arouk in the streets of Deir ez-Zor city at this time as their primary source of income.
“I was able to find temporary work by selling Ramadan drinks on a stall in the Al-Jubaila market in Deir ez-Zor during Ramadan,” said Mohammed al-Ali, a licorice seller.
He added, “I started saving money to open a clothing stall in the same market after the end of Ramadan.”
