Yesterday, Thursday, Leilwa Al-Abdullah the official spokesperson for Al-Jazeera storm campaign survived an assassination attempt on Al-Hasakah-Deir Ezzor international highway.

According to special sources, unidentified assailants opened fire at the car, in which Al-Abdullah was traveling, but she did not suffer any injury as a result of the shooting.

The SDF have not accused anyone with the assassination attempt nor has anyone claimed responsibility for it.

In recent months, a number of the SDF commanders have been assassinated by blowing up their cars or shooting them directly.

It is noteworthy that Daesh has active cells in the areas controlled by the SDF, especially in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
