DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Two members of the National Defense Militia, Mohammed Al-Sayer and Ahmed Al-Yassin, were killed as a result of a clash between a group of the Defense Militia and an anti-drug patrol near the central park in the city of Deir Ezzor, last night.
One of our reporters mentioned that the Assad regime’s anti-narcotics agency launched a campaign against narcotics and hashish dealers in Deir Ezzor, and announced the arrest of 8 people yesterday morning, describing them as drug dealers .
The patrol also managed to arrest members of the National Defense militia and the Assud Sharqiay militia in the city of Deir Ezzor on charges of drug use and dealing.
Most of the detainees are those who recently came from the areas “east of the Euphrates”, and conducted a settlement process and then joined the ranks of the militias.
