SDF gained full control over Al Baghuz town, in eastern Deir Ezzor, following clashes against Daesh today. The SDF attack was preceded by airstrikes against the town conducted by both the coalition and the Iraqi air force.
Daesh sustained ten casualties while 3 SDF fighters were killed. On the other hand, SDF engineering units have been deployed to the town for mine removal operations, a D24 correspondent said.
In other news, clashes continue between the organization and SDF on the outskirts of Hajin town, where SDF have been unable to make any significant gains so far. SDF shot down today a Daesh reconnaissance drone which was flying over the outskirts of the town.
