SDF arrests Daesh member in Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)’ HAT forces arrested a Daesh member in a security operation in the city of al-Busaira, eastern Deir Ezzor.

SDF websites posted that the arrested member was a member of a Daesh assassination cell and participated in planning to attack a local leader in al-Busaira in January 2021.

The security operation is a part of operations the International Coalition and the SDF conduct against Daesh that endangers civilians’ lives in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, east of the Euphrates.
