A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 Network that on Thursday, March 18, 2021, Russian forces opened a crossing between the village of al-Husseiniyah controlled by the Assad forces and the Russians, and the village of al-Hussan controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), western Deir Ezzor.
The source added that Russian helicopters flew over the crossing area. The helicopters transported logistic equipment to complete establishing the crossing.
The Russians opened the crossing after negotiations with the SDF.
