Russians arrest 6 members of criminal security service on charges of corruption

On Thursday, February 25, Russian military police launched a campaign of arrests in Deir Ezzor. The campaign resulted in the arrest of six members of the criminal security service, a source told Deir Ezzor 24 network.

The members were accused of taking high sums of money from people for issuing them non-conviction papers in illegal way, the source added.

The Russian military police is the most powerful force in Deir Ezzor. And Assad’s forces and security branches are subordinated to it.
