Today, a huge Russian patrol consisting of more than 10 heavy vehicles entered the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
He pointed out that the patrol crossed the Russian bridge into the northern countryside, accompanied by a Russian general, on a visit to the headquarters and military points of the Fifth Corps.
The purpose of the Russian forces’ visit to the area, which is considered one of the closest areas to the international coalition forces in Deir Ezzor, remains unknown.
