General Organization of Water Supply in Deir Ezzor Directorate announced the commencement of executing the rehabilitation of and replacing parts of water supply grids with support by UNICEF.
The organization stated that the project includes many of Deir Ezzor quarters such as, Al Kosor, Al Rdaisat, Harabesh, Aljahezia blocks in addition to Dar Al Shifaa Hospital street, Al Bal’oum area in Al Mayadeen and Al Araidi neighborhood in Al Qurayya town.
The organization explained that the project targets the boosting of water supply sector infrastructure, and to improve the quality of services provided to citizens. Also, to ensure the continuity of water pumping to the beneficiary areas which contributes to the improvement of services and alleviating people’s suffering.
