Over the course of three days, convoys of displaced people from the Deir Ezzor countryside arrived from the Abu Khashab camp, located in areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), to areas under the control of the Syrian government in Deir Ezzor, after long years of displacement and hardship.
The Directorate of Social Affairs and the Office of International Cooperation accompanied the displaced families from the moment of their arrival, affirming that all possible humanitarian and service assistance was provided to help alleviate the effects of displacement and the harsh conditions they endured.
The number of arrivals over the three days reached approximately 150 families (680 individuals), who arrived in groups, all originally from the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
