DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The post office crossing in the city of Al-Mayadeen, which is under the control of Assad forces and connects the area to the areas controlled by the SDF, is witnessing a gathering of cars carrying passengers and smuggled goods to Damascus, according to what the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that most of the smuggling cars are owned by leaders in the Iranian-backed militias, and transport people from the crossings towards Damascus, including smuggling wanted persons for large sums of money, as the militias’ cars are known to the checkpoints and are not stopped or searched regardless of their contents.
The militias’ cars return from Damascus loaded with passengers and drugs coming from Lebanon via the Hezbollah militia.
