Lens of a Young Deri Facebook page, published a photo report today, depicting the general situation in the city of Deir Ezzor which is currently caught between the Assad-regime and Daesh.
It focuses mainly on the unspeakable, shocking amount of destruction in civilian buildings and streets of Deir Ezzor due to indiscriminatory air strikes and daily clashes between Daesh and Assad forces. Markets, children and elderly people also appear in the photo report.
This risky photo report comes in light of an atmosphere where Daesh has seized full control over most of Deir Ezzor and banned any sorts of neutral journalism or activism, which makes this collection of pictures valuable to shed light on the suffering of civilians living in the province.
