Today, Dr.Abdul-Mofadi was killed by unidentified gunmen believed to be affiliated with Iranian militias and the Assad regime, who were riding a motorcycle before Al-Kindi Hospital in Al-Tayyana, east of Deir Ezzor.
Abdul Mofadi is one of the doctors who supported the revolutionaries. He moved between field hospitals. He worked at Al-Taqwa Hospital in Hatla, Mohassan Field Hospital and Pharmex Hospital in Deir Ezzor.
The doctor had a master’s degree in general surgery and traveled to Ukraine when Daesh took control of the area, then returned to Deir Ezzor to continue his work as a doctor.
This is not the first incident of its kind, as targeting medical personnel is a crime that al-Assad forces and their supporters have been doing, as they deliberately bomb hospitals and target medical points and personnel, including the targeting of Doctor Youssef in Al-Shuhail and a pharmacist in the Ezbet area, in continuous attempts to bury the revolution and its supporters.
