People in charge of storing medical equipment for public hospitals in Deir Ezzor steal medical masks in cooperation with doctors and administrators
A source in the Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor told Deir Ezzor 24 that a large amount of medical masks and gloves arrived at the hospital over the past days. The source added that a minimal portion entered the hospital warehouse, but the large portion was transported to officials’ warehouses to be sold later for traders.
The price of masks reach 500 Syrian pounds per mask in Deir Ezzor. Hospitals are the first source of selling masks in Deir Ezzor.
