Three children were injured a short while ago due to the explosion of a landmine left behind by Assad forces, Russian militias, and Iranian-backed militias in the town of Khasham, northeast of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter stated that the children were transferred to Hasakah hospitals for treatment. The incident was preceded by a similar incident two days ago, when three children were injured in the same town due to the explosion of a missile head while they were playing with it.
Yesterday, the leader of the Lions of the East faction, “Mohammed Al-Rajab”, was killed and two members who were with him were injured due to the explosion of a landmine in the eastern desert of Deir Ezzor.
Mine incidents have been repeated on a daily basis in Deir Ezzor since the withdrawal of Assad forces, Iranian-backed militias, and Russian militias, as they turned the areas they controlled into minefields before leaving, which poses a real threat to the local population
