Residents of Albukamal city accused members of the “47th Regiment” militia, supported by the Revolutionary Guards militia, of stealing shops in the city’s main market, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that several owners of the stolen shops filed a complaint with the “Criminal Security” branch in the city, to arrest the thieves. Still, the branch ignored the complaints and informed the shop owners that it had no authority to pursue members of the “47th Regiment” militia.
He added that as a result, members of the “47th Regiment” militia assaulted several shop owners yesterday evening, as members of the militia stormed the main market in Albukamal and proceeded to smash many shops, which forced the shop owners to close them.
