DeirEzzor24 exclusive report :
Livestock smuggling from the SDF areas to the Assad regime has recently experienced a remarkable increase, as smuggling operations are taking place from the SDF-controlled town of Al-Ji’ah towards the areas controlled by Assad’s forces in Al-Hussainiya in western Deir Ezzor – Jazira.
The cost of the head reaches 15,000 SYP, distributed among the Fourth Division 10,000 and SDF members 5,000, as operations are carried out under the supervision of the Military Security Branch in Deir Ezzor.
The people are forced to smuggle their livestock through this road, as it is shorter and less expensive than the river crossings, and also given that the prices of livestock in Assad-controlled areas are about 30% higher than the SDF areas, which makes them resort to this, in order to improve their living conditions, and take advantage of the price difference. between the two regions.
