Some leaders of the Revolutionary Guards militia in Albukamal proposed the idea of settling Lebanese families in the neighborhoods of Al-Jam’iyat and Al-Sina’a, according to what a special source told DeirEzzor24 Network.
The source said that the militia leaders sought to change the nature of the city in addition to benefiting those families so that the area would not be bombed because it had become civilian.
He confirmed that many leaders admired the idea, but they postponed its implementation until they knew how things would turn out now.
It is noteworthy that dozens of Lebanese families, most of whom are families of militia members, have arrived in Deir Ezzor in recent days, fleeing the ongoing bombing of areas in southern Lebanon.
