A joint delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Interior and the Civil Aviation Authority conducted a field inspection tour of Deir Ezzor Civil Airport, aiming to assess its technical and construction readiness in preparation for the resumption of air traffic.
The Ministry of Interior delegation was headed by Colonel Ahmed Al-Ahmad, Director of the Airports and Ports Security Department, while the Civil Aviation Authority delegation was headed by Mr. Amjad Nakhal, Assistant Chairman of the Authority.
The tour focused on evaluating the security and technical aspects, studying the condition of the infrastructure and equipment, in addition to preparing a comprehensive study of the requirements necessary to ensure achieving the highest standards of safety and operational readiness.
This tour comes within the framework of ongoing coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Civil Aviation Authority, ensuring smooth operation and providing the best services to passengers immediately after the airport reopens.
