As part of educational activities aimed at enhancing students’ practical experiences, Al-Wadi Center for Tourism and Hotel Training and Rehabilitation organized an educational tour at Deir Ezzor Airport for second-year students of the 2025-2026 academic year.
The tour included students from the “Tourism Office Management” and “Business Administration” majors, and it served as an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts in a real-world practical environment.
The students were accompanied on this tour by a group of qualified professors: “Malak Al-Musharraf,” “Aya Khalifa,” and “Majed Al-Ani.”
During the visit, the students explored various departments of the airport, including the administrative and technical operations taking place there. They were also introduced to the airport’s operational procedures, with a comprehensive explanation of how daily activities are organized, as well as the strategic plans aimed at modernizing and developing the airport to meet international standards.
This visit helped bridge the gap between the theoretical content students learned in their lectures and the practical application within one of the most vital facilities in the region. The tour contributed to broadening students’ perspectives and deepening their understanding of the administrative and operational processes related to managing tourism and hospitality facilities, including key infrastructure like airports.
This tour represents an important step in enhancing students’ education and connecting them to the labor market through practical visits that support both their academic and professional careers.
