Residents complain about severe lack of teachers, schools, and educational equipment in the city of al-Bukamal, eastern Deir Ezzor, Eastern Syria. Iranian militias seized schools in al-Bukamal and turned them into military headquarters, barracks, and warehouses.
The Deir Ezzor 24 Network reporter said that the residents’ calls to improve the educational situation failed due to the militias’ intransigence, and that the Assad’s regime does not control the militias.
Iranian militias prevent people from living near the schools that the militias control in al-Bukamal.
