DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
Some Iraqi trucks entered the city of Albukamal last night, carrying signs that read “From the Abbasid shrine”, accompanied by military vehicles from the Popular Mobilization Forces militia, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network reported.
Our correspondent said that the trucks entered as humanitarian aid for Lebanon. While passing through the center of Deir Ezzor city, a number of trucks headed to the Al-Rusafa neighborhood. The Revolutionary Guard militia members unloaded their cargo in a warehouse inside the neighborhood without knowing the nature of the cargo because the neighborhood was closed and completely under the militia’s control. After that, the trucks left and continued their empty journey towards Homs.
It is noteworthy that the security and military committee affiliated with the Assad regime gave a direct order to the checkpoints and military units on the roads and entrances to the cities not to search or stop trucks and buses of the displaced, and to facilitate their passage quickly.
