DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia began training local members on the use of drones in the city of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that yesterday was the first day of training, at the site next to the Ain Ali Shrine in the desert of the city of Al-Quria, east of Deir Ezzor.
He added that the training was conducted under the supervision of a militia leader from Lebanon called Hajj Hassan, who came to the city of Al-Mayadeen for this mission.
He confirmed that 20 local members who had proven their loyalty to Iran were selected to be trained, and after the end of the course, drones would be activated directly to target coalition bases in the areas east of the Euphrates in Deir Ezzor, as it is a more effective method than missiles.
It is worth noting that the Iranian-backed militias have activated the strategy of using drones to target icoalition bases in northeastern Syria, since the start of the war on Gaza, as a form of revenge operations.
