The leader of the Revolutionary Guard militia, called “Hajj Malik,” held a closed security and military meeting at his headquarters in the Al-Jami’at neighborhood (formerly the home of Hajj Askar), according to what a private source reported to the Deir ez-Zor 24 network.
Our correspondent, the source, said that the reason for the meeting was to coordinate military maneuvers in which all military sectors would participate and also include Hezbollah militia and groups of the Popular Mobilization Forces militia present on the outskirts of Albukamal.
He added that the maneuvers will include all weapons, and will use live ammunition, mine engineering, and emergency teams, and nearly a thousand members from various Iranian-backed militias will participate.
The maneuvers are scheduled to begin in the Maizila area in the Albukamal countryside in the next few days.
